You will learn about how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, investigate a wide range of sports and techniques, and apply your skills and knowledge to improve your own performance and fitness levels. You can then broaden your experiences at GCSE (OCR), Level 2 BTEC (Pearson) or Health & Fitness (NCFR) and Level 3 BTEC (Pearson), where you will demonstrate your ability to perform in a wider range of disciplines, explore socio-cultural issues, including sports psychology and health, fitness and well-being and reflect on the success of your performances.
